## About

The Mujeres De Aztlan Collective are dedicated to providing mutual aid and support to other Mujeres in community . We work closely with local farmers to bring fresh organic produce to our community.
Our mission is to foster self sustainability, strengthening community bonds, and ensure access to healthy, equitable harvesting, and locally-sourced food. By collaborating with small farmers, We promote regenerative agriculture practices that benefit both people and the planet.
Together, we build a healthier future for the youth through community-driven initiatives and support for local agriculture.
The legacy of Mujeres de Aztlan Collective continues through the guidance and blessing of cofounder Ernestina Garcia and longtime community mentor Doreen Garcia Nevel, who have entrusted the Mujeres De Aztlan with carrying forward the collective’s mutual‑aid work.
Their leadership, cultural grounding, and decades of service created the foundation that The Mujeres De Aztlan now build upon. Through their mentorship, We are able to uphold the values of community care, self‑determination, and solidarity that define Mujeres De Aztlan, ensuring that it's spirit of grassroots support remains active and alive in our community.
